Raising Resilience Within your Family

Inclusion Ireland is holding a webinar on Thursday 3rd of April 2025 at 7.30pm-8.30pm.

A webinar for families of children with an intellectual disability (up to 18) where a group of parents and professionals will discuss the meaning of resilience and how it may build your strength and that of your family.  At the webinar you will hear from a professional who works with families and with three parents on building resiliency in your own family.

The Panellists:

– Pamela Mansell (Future Solutions)

– Tracy Holmes (Parent)

– Suzanne Bradley (Parent)

– Tracy Carroll (Parent)

Recognising that resilience is relational, messy, requires connection, and is forever building, you will get a real perspective of the journey.  Through storytelling and lived experience you will learn very practical tools/ways of building resilience within your family.  We are holding this webinar because the ‘system’ is complex, exhausting, and emotionally draining. We want to show you that every family needs to find what works best for them. We’ll talk about how to ask the right questions (changing the conversation) and how to build your own voice.  After the webinar you might have some more ideas around how to support your loved one and your family that might work for you.
