The National Learning Network currently have vacancies on our vocational training programmes (a training allowance may be payable, subject to eligibility rules) that may be of interest to some of your clients seeking to access further education or employment. These programmes are aimed towards people who face barriers to employment or further education. This may be due to a disability, illness or accident.
Please find attached some leaflets that will give you a further insight to our programmes. Our Introductory Skills Training Programme is most suited to school leavers (16+) or learners that are unsure of what career/education path to chose.
Our courses are continuous intake so once a place becomes available a student can start. We use a holistic student centred approach with supports available if required (literacy, rehabilitative officer and psychologist). Each student has an individual learning plan and is offered FETAC certification.
We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss our programmes further and what NLN can offer or alternatively, we would encourage you or prospective students to visit the centre so you can see the facilities and meet tutors.
If we can be of any further assistance or if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact Val Real, Area Manager or Trish Hynes, Assistant Manager on 061 229777.
