The Treehouse Early Intervention and School Age Teams provide specialist therapeutic assessment and intervention to children with complex disabilities and/or developmental delay in the Limerick South City area. The service is a partnership between St. Gabriel’s Centre and the HSE.
The service is child and family centred and is offered across a range of settings. These may include the centre, home, school and preschool as appropriate.
Children access services though either the Early Intervention team (from Birth to approximately 6 years) or through the School Age Team (from approximately 6 – 18 years of age).
The teams strive to deliver an interdisciplinary service which is:
- Child and Family Centred
- Team Based
- High Quality
Both our Treehouse Early Intervention Team and School Age Team offer services which include the following range of disciplines:
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech and Language Therapy
- Social Work
- Early Educator (on the Early Intervention Team)
The teams are supported by the Clinical Lead, the Administrator & Clerical personnel.
