The Clare Early Intervention and School Age Teams provide specialist therapeutic assessment and intervention to children with complex disabilities and/or developmental delay in the Clare catchment area. The service is a partnership between Enable Ireland, the Brothers of Charity (Clare), Clare Federation for People with Special Needs and the HSE.
The service is child and family centred and is offered across a range of settings. These may include the centre, home, school and preschool as appropriate.
Children access services though either the Early Intervention team (from Birth to approximately 6 years) or through the School Age Team (from approximately 6 – 18 years of age).

Clare Children Services Early Intervention and School Age Teams have personnel from the following disciplines:-
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech and Language Therapy
- Social Work
- Early Intervention Resource Person
- Paediatric Link Worker
- Early Intervention Educators
- Psychology
All of these disciplines are supported by a Children’s Services Manager, Administrator & Clerical personnel.
